You probably never saw it because I suspect it only happens if the hall mobs repop before you engage. And no, again no extra loot happens because the lockout properly functioned. Now, the Three Brothers event on the other hand used to drop loot from one of the brothers and the other two not being killed meant no lockout. We reported that one without doing anything because that WOULD have meant extra loot.

I said nobody got banned and that we got a "slap on the wrist," with no rollback or anything of the sort. As I said, this event is well over a year old now and from the conversations I had with people on other servers it was well known by players, gms, and the devs. It should be fixed, because you do not need to go out of the way. As I said, you probably never saw it because I suspect the triggers need to repop before you defeat the event for it to happen. Because the event is so easy, we'd tend to go to it with lower numbers, and med up and buff up fully before engaging. I suspect your guild steamrolled the event and as such the triggers never had a chance to repop. I do not know the exact details of the bug, but I know enough to know that when it first happened to us I was going back to clear the trash so it wouldn't cause us any issues and he popped right back on top of us while we were doing loot. I maintain at the least that the first time it happened we did nothing wrong. I wasn't going to tell the raid to sit there and die, letting the loot rot, because a boss repopped on us. The other time? Again, since we got a lockout we got no extra loot. We wouldn't have done it had we thought it was wrong, and that's why I'm being so open about it. The net effect was no different from raiding it on an off day to maximize the lockout, and because we heard this was going on for ages, no I did not think it was wrong. Now, had we done it a gazillion times yes common sense says that would have been stupid, but we did not.

As far as the Evo hacks thing, I don't know what went on there with the recruiting. There were a handful of people in your guild accused of hacking instances out of raid time is all I know, and I never took rumors to be fact personally.

Anyway, I'm not trying to spread knowledge of an exploit here. That's why I'm not mentioning the event's name. Rest assured though, the only thing that happens to cause it to repop is time and aggroing one of the (many) trash mobs that trigger it.
